A spaceship is an artificial and/or technological object that travels through space, possibly carrying a crew of beings inside it. Spaceships may range in size from a the truly microscopic probe to behemoths kilometers across or larger. They are often used to travel from one celestial body to another, but may also be used for other purposes.
Also consider the space-travel tag, for questions asking about the process of spaceflight itself, rather than the technology by which to do so.
