Strategy & Operations Manager

Buymed is Vietnam’s and Southeast Asia’s top healthtech company. We improve healthcare quality and access for practitioners, patients, and all other stakeholders (pharmaceutical producers, distributors, logistics providers, and pharmacists) in between by using transformational technology.

We are looking for a Strategy and Operations to join our team to drive strategic planning, facilitate execution, oversee finance, and manage our operations- all in the context of aggressively and efficiently growing our business.

• You will lead strategic projects by structuring problems, analyzing opportunities, and developing data-driven solutions and actionable recommendations. Using rigorous data analysis, you will ensure these initiatives are based on solid evidence.
• You will manage the operational cadence for the group, measuring and tracking critical KPIs and initiatives, and presenting findings to executive leadership. Through data analysis, you will create and validate strategic and business cases, working with cross-functional teams to outline business opportunities, rationale, and execution plans.
• You will identify areas for performance improvement within the business to enhance productivity and accelerate execution. Your insights, derived from analytics and market research, will guide the business in making informed decisions.
• Working with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, customer service, engineering, and finance, you will execute growth opportunities and manage initiatives across the company. You will be responsible for managing change across various projects, ensuring alignment with the professional services organizational goals and vision.
• You will develop operational roadmaps for different business units, projecting 2-3 years into the future. Overseeing all financial aspects of the professional services organization, you will focus on planning, tracking, and reporting against the company’s financial plan.
• By implementing evidence-based decision-making and applying thoughtful analytics to business opportunities, you will identify success metrics and develop reporting systems to track progress against goals. Additionally, you will manage the administrative aspects of our professional services operations, ensuring they are run efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with strategy development and financial planning and modeling.
• Extensive experience in banking, venture capital, corp dev, fin ops or related fields that provide core strategy development
• 6+ years experience with a mix of strategy, and business operations in a tech company or consulting firm / corporate strategy field
• Strong analytical and financial skills to solve complex business problems
• Self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
