Team and Role Introduction:

In this role of Manager, Payment Strategy and Operations, you will be challenged to envision and execute on an experience that realizes our vision of Wallet delivering the best payment experiences for all. As a member of this team, you will develop and execute on the vision, strategy and roadmap to maintain Wallet as the #1 preferred payment method on Lazada. You will also work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the superior experience of Wallet to all users via product and user management innovation. Responsibilities:

Reporting to Head of LazadaPay Vietnam, you will be responsible for:

  • Internalize and deeply understand Lazada’s mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the wallet team. Distill vision and strategy for the team, get all members of cross-functional team aligned to deliver on the eWallet roadmap.
  • Develop strategy and tactics to drive substantive and measurable change in adoption rate, usage, penetration and scale through internal operations and product enhancements
  • Work with local and regional product and tech teams to build and improve the core user experience for eWallet payments at Lazada
  • Challenge all members of cross-functional team (tech and product development) to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans
  • Develop new ideas, business and solutions opportunities for eWallet with an eye towards improving experience and loyalty among users
  • Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into product development process.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal partners to all stakeholders
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing, category team, traffic, designer) for support to plan & execute eWallet programmes


Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in the Commerce, Science or Engineering disciplines
  • Need to understand nuances/dynamics of Vietnam eCommerce and eWallet market
  • Experience in business and data analytics tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong logical thinking, imagination space and ability to design
  • Ability to work in a regional matrix and with stakeholders on a variety of levels, enforcing standards and guidelines
  • Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Tough mindset, self-driven go-getter
  • Payments industry expert with FinTech specialty and ambitions
  • Can take up an area of the work and really own up to the high bar
  • Savvy data analytics skills
  • Payments operations and marketing operations experiences
