Vertical Aerospace takes testing seriously, using the latest technology to ensure the next-generation #VX4 prototype is as safe and efficient as possible. The comprehensive programme of tests have reached some impressive milestones:   - The Vertical Integrated Test Lab (VITL), also known as the 'Iron Bird', conducted 2,700 hours of testing across real aircraft hardware and flight control computers to verify how Vertical's technology performs with components from its aerospace partners. - Thermal, Dynamic and Endurance Performance verification of both bespoke forward and aft propeller assemblies on new high-performance Electric Propulsion Units. - More than 18 million, fatigue cycles on the second-generation propeller blades, demonstrating the durability of the design. - 1.2 million battery cycle tests on Vertical's latest battery technology, proving durability and performance in flight environments. #FIA2024Takeover #FIA2024Partnership #GUAAS24
