A Cambridge-based optics company are looking to expand their team with an enthusiastic and creative Senior Electronics Engineer to help develop cutting-edge ultra-thin Electronic Technology.
The successful Senior Electronics Engineer will work alongside a team multi-skilled team of engineers and scientists to design and develop next-generation electronic solutions including products for the automotive, gaming and AR sectors.
The role will be a hands-on practical engineering role working alongside other engineers and scientists to develop intelligent optical technology and flexible displays. Ideally, they are looking for someone with a strong background with digital electronics in general however FPGA experience is an area they are really lacking in and therefore that experience is key.
The key skills they are looking for are:
High-speed digital circuit design
FPGA development - VHDL or Verilog
PCB design - for small-scale electronics
5+ Years of industry experience
They're offering a salary in the range of £60,000 - £75,000 depending on experience and can offer a hybrid working set-up.
