Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Norwich

Salary: Up to £45,000

My client provide cutting edge automated solutions to global markets, spanning a variety of industry sectors, including Medical/Ocular and Pharmaceutical.

They provide bespoke turnkey automation, ranging from stand-alone machines to fully integrated high throughput cells. We pride ourselves on being able to offer our customers the complete in-house solution - from design to delivery.

The Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can design innovative and progressive automation machinery, as part of a dynamic and growing design team. Working alongside engineers and other industry professionals, to conceptualise, develop and enhance these solutions, whilst also contributing to the evolution of our processes.

The following list is an indication of the skills that the successful candidate will possess, in fulfilment of the position:

  • Mechanical design/engineering experience within the automation industry.
  • A minimum of an HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Highly proficient in 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks) with experience designing for manufacture.
  • Previous experience using Solidworks PDM or similar would be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
