Well that was some night at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Excellence awards in London. We came away with six wins, four of them gold and two marks of excellence, one for UK Consultancy of the year! It marks the end of an incredible week as last week we were also named PRCA large consultancy of the year for Wales! Over the past 10 years we have built an exceptional team who work hard, know their stuff and are passionate about working with meaning. We couldn’t be more proud of the whole team’s work and the support of our incredible clients Maethu Cymru | Foster Wales Welsh Government And we had a blast 💥 Thank you to Sarah Waddington CBE CDir ChartPR for joining us for what was quite the night. And to our best pal Jason Mohammad for welcoming us onto the stage so many times! Read all about it here: https://lnkd.in/egjNZSUF

Today sees the launch of a campaign to save The Aloud Charity Over 6,500 young people have been supported since they launched in 2010, and now they need to raise £150k to save both the charity and its famous Only Boys Aloud choir. We worked closely with the Aloud team and their valued members - both past and present - to put together this film to help raise the awareness of the vital funds needed. Please, if you can, donate now to keep boys in Wales singing:  https://lnkd.in/eKqUgawG

Last week a few members of our creative team attended the Adobe #AdobeMax event in London for an inspiring day of talks, tutorials, and creativity. The day had a heavy focus on using AI in the creative industries and how we can harness the power of AI to work more efficiently and collaboratively 🤖 Some of the teams’ highlights include: Tom — "Seeing how AI is being leveraged to speed up workflow and provide so many new creative possibilities whilst still putting the designer firmly in control." Maris — “AI is very much here and is a tool to leverage, but the heart of creativity is in how we make people feel — my favourite quote of the day; 'The best creatives are those who can think like children' Perry Nightingale, WPP.” Katie — “Margot Bowman's talk on permission and opportunity was deeply inspiring. Quite often as creatives we have set briefs of what can/can't be done. So to look at permission, or lack of, as an opportunity for play and exploration has put a whole new spin on how I'd like to approach work going forward.” Hollie — “It was interesting to see the scope of new features Adobe are implementing into their software and how they can be a positive aide for creativity and collaboration. Embracing AI whilst keeping your own creative integrity is going to be key.” #adobe #adobemax #adobemaxlondon #creativity

In 2023 we took the step to create a community engagement team at Cowshed. A team dedicated to having conversations with people across the country to get right to the heart of issues, concerns, behaviours and thoughts - to ultimately make our work better. We started by hiring the incredible Tahnee Chambers and she was quickly followed by the brilliant Sam Roberts. Together they have built such a strong team and last night their hard work was officially recognised when we won a PRmoment award for Community Engagement for our work with Welsh Government. Hats off to our indomitable Campaign Director Beth Edwards and the team who created the Sound campaign: to make Wales the safest place in the world to be a woman. This campaign is making a big difference already and we’ve only just begun. #workwithmeaning
