Meet the VBH Technical Support Engineer team.   Led by Daran Woodcock, the team includes the vastly experienced Wayne Hewlett and Steve Thomas, providing support to fabricators, installers, and systems houses across the country.   External technical support in all shapes and forms is a key part of VBH’s service offering.   The team’s working days are varied, and can include any of the following:   Product demonstrations New product fit up trials and provision of feedback to the design team On-site and in-factory technical support Help with readying door and window samples for 3rd party product testing Liaison between customers and VBH re new product development Dealing with technical queries Troubleshooting Providing support to the Sales team Understand customer requirements and developing customized solutions Collaboration with our New Product Development team and customers to identify product enhancements In short, the External Technical Engineer Team acts as a conduit between our customers and our New Product Development, Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure that the function of our existing products exceed expectations, and that VBH develops the new greenteQ products that the market actually wants. Between them, Daran, Steve and Wayne have over 90 years’ industry experience across hardware, manufacturing, installation and factory processes. So VBH customers know that they are in safe hands. Daran says, “My role covers a lot within VBH, and I enjoy the variation that this brings. Having been in this industry for 24 years now, I have learned that there are always challenges to overcome to meet a customer’s needs. These challenges necessitate new ideas , which is why I love what I do. I am very glad to have joined VBH this year and to be leading such an outstanding team.”
