He has been involved in government work at the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) of the Republic of the Philippines. He has served voluntarily as Vice President for Development of Internet Society - Philippine Chapter (ISOC PH) and as Co-Chair of the Philippine Network Operators' Group(PhNOG). Benjz's interests and extensive experience in Internet Governance, the Digital Economy, and Local Community Networks will be instrumental in driving our mission forward. With his help, we aim to expand our connectivity projects and bridge the digital divide in the Philippines, bringing essential internet access to underserved communities. Our primary focus is on bridging the digital divide and enabling an inclusive ecosystem that reaches the 2.9 billion individuals who remain unconnected. We firmly believe that the digital divide widens inequality, hampers development, and undermines long-term sustainability. To address these challenges, we run a variety of projects on a global scale, making a tangible impact on people's lives. Our initiatives are designed to support vital aspects such as education, commerce, jobs, safety, and health.
