Our Chief Commercial Officer, Lee LeFeuvre, took to the stage at MAD//FEST today to discuss the 15 retail media lessons needed to succeed in this booming industry. Missed out on Lee's talk today? We've got the highlights: 🐝 Retail media is a real buzzword at the moment but many of us have the definition wrong. Lee summarised it as: “...any media that is owned and operated by a retailer or that is targeted using retailer data.” 🛍️ It's also certainly not just digital and every campaign needs to be carefully planned to consider the full shopper journey in-store, online, and offsite. 📈 Operating an RMN takes a huge amount of investment, a complex ecosystem of partners, and a proliferation of channels to choose from. Those who get their RMN set up right can see significant growth. 📊 Data from Plan-Apps shows that retail media can impact metrics across the full funnel and therefore should not be seen just as a lower-funnel conversion tool. 🤝 Brands that are prioritising measurement dramatically improve their ROI.
