A massive congratulations to our own Daisy Spragg on being promoted to Operations Manager. Daisy has been instrumental in supporting the FGF partners since she joined at the end of last year and her new expanded role will also cover wider fund operations.

FinTech Growth Fund is delighted to welcome Isabel Alexander as a Value Creation and Portfolio Growth Associate. Izzy spent five years at Investec Bank, as an Investment Banking Associate focused on Private Company Fundraising transactions. Izzy advised growth stage technology companies raising equity funding rounds from Series A onwards, predominantly in the fintech sector. In this role she completed a range of financing and M&A deals across the UK market. Izzy graduated from the University of Exeter with a first class honours degree in Business Economics. Our Partner, Kaushalya Somasundaram, recently spent a great day at the TNW Conference in Amsterdam.   As part of the Financial Times Finance Disrupted Stage, Kaushalya took part in the ‘Venture Capital: Keeping the Faith in FinTech’ panel alongside Barbod Namini, HV Capital and Sandeep B., Prosus Ventures and moderated by Murad Ahmed, Financial Times. It was insightful session discussing the persisting optimism towards FinTech in the UK, the various use cases of AI in banking and finance, and how the UK continues to be a global leader in providing regulatory support and access to capital for FinTechs to innovate and scale. One of the key pillars underpinning London and the UK's position as a leading global financial centre is the presence and strong engagement of the world's financial institutions. We are thrilled to announce that Luisa Alix Orsini has joined the FinTech Growth Fund team!   Luisa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to FGF. She joins from Octopus Ventures where she was in the B2B Software investment team. Prior to that she worked in investment banking at Stifel, where she advised European tech companies on M&A and capital raises. Luisa holds a BSc in economics from SOAS University of London, specializing in the economic development of the Middle East, and a MSc in economics and management from the London School of Economics.
