Buying a car online - just cinch it.

About us

We're cinch. And we take the faff out of buying a car entirely online. So when our customers buy a car, they don't just nail it, they absolutely cinch it. Our mission is simple. To take away all the things that make changing cars trickier than it should be. We know what drivers want, so we’ve ripped up the rule book and replaced it with an approach that helps people browse, buy and receive cars from the comfort of their own homes. In the last year, cinch has moved from start-up to scale-up, supported by huge financial investment and a community of almost 200 digital, engineering, marketing, data, commercial and customer experience professionals working across our Manchester, Surrey and Central London offices. With this driving us – and the UK’s online car sales market growing every day – we’re truly set up for success. Sound up your street? We’re determined to build the best online experiences in the automotive and technology industries. And we’re always looking for talented people to help us on that journey. We want to inspire innovation behind the scenes that drives to continually-improved, faff-free experiences for consumers. What does that mean for you? At cinch, we’ve created an environment where ideas come to life, agile thinking is celebrated and each of us can really make a difference. Our passionate team makes every day exciting – supporting and learning from each other to ensure our work is both meaningful and impactful. On top of that, we’ve market-leading salaries and fantastic perks to sweeten the deal. Think company discounts, L&D tools, employee assistance programmes and even our very own cashback and rewards platform. Join a brand you’ll be proud to say you’ve helped build. Join cinch.

Last week we were joined by Virgin Radio UK presenter, ultra-marathon runner and all-round good guy Vassos Alexander for our latest Speaker Series event.    The aim of Speaker Series is to inspire and educate cinchers across the company – providing different perspectives on how to build a career, overcome challenges and adopt positive behaviours.   Vassos shared stories and advice from his inspirational background, including:    ❄ "I was breaking the ice off the pontoon to get in the water" …on 5am winter swims in Hyde Park 🧗♂️ "Putting yourself in a difficult position is really important" …on challenging yourself and your career goals 🏃♂️ "I was doing really well, then all the wheels came off" …on hitting the wall during a 153-mile Spartathlon race 🏊♂️ "I can’t resist the challenge" …on why he’s training to swim the Channel 😀 "Proactivity, positivity and punctuality" …on his '3P' attitude to life   Hear more from Vassos by tuning in to the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with cinch from 6.30am-10am every weekday on Virgin Radio.

Today we welcomed guests from the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to our first Speaker Series panel. Discussing the importance and merits of data in both the online and on-field arenas, the speakers were Mohammad Bobat the ECB’s Men’s Performance Director, Prof Staff Murray PhD, MSc, PG Cert, BA (Hons): ECB Head of Analysis and Insights, and England vice-captain, right-handed batter, and occasional wicketkeeper, Ollie Pope. Hosted by our chief customer officer, Robert Bridge, the conversation covered the use of data and analytics in helping to choose the team, assisting players with their performance, tactics during matches, scouting the next generation of England internationals, and who had the best golf handicap in the England men’s team. In a game which has always liked its numbers and technology, English cricket has embraced insights to assist its coaches and players, but as Bobat said, data is a tool which allows better questions to be asked and calls to be made. He said: “I’m not that interested in data, I am interested in decision-making – I have the philosophy of data on tap, not data on top.” You can also check out Ollie Pope’s trip around Rockingham with Ian Bell, testing his cricketing and general knowledge, here: https://lnkd.in/eaaNGf3e #cinch #cinchit #EnglandCricket #Partnerships #Cricket #Sports #Sport #SportsSponsorship #Data #SportsData
