A procedure for expulsion or exclusion from a country of an undesired, usually foreign, individual. May be voluntarily or involuntarily. Removal most often occurs at a port of entry when an individual is found to be unqualified to enter. Removal affects all entrants (including visa on arrival) who are found to be unqualified. Removals can also occur in-country when a person has failed to observe the terms and conditions of their visa.
