Mar 4, 2020 at 8:56 comment added htmlcoderexe they should really add some kind of fines that not only would make it MORE expensive to plain refuse on average for the company, but also with part of it going to the customer who got screwed to make it worth to sue - if doing the right thing is really that hard for companies

Sep 20, 2019 at 18:40 comment added Bwmat It's ridiculous that we as a society accept this kind of BS. This letter should itself constitute fraud and only increase damages owed to OP
Sep 20, 2019 at 18:10 comment added Mindwin Remember Monica The problem is that the company only loses when it loses (in court). It wins when it wins (in court) but also when you give up. So the path of least resistance is to make you give up. Whatever gibberish is most likely to make you give up will be sent your way.

Sep 19, 2019 at 19:22 comment added Paul Paulsen Many airlines will just refuse to pay, even if they have to. At the court in Frankfurt alone there are 16,000 cases per year, completely overloading their capacities. Often, you only can take it to court or forfeit the claim to an agency which is specialized in this, accepting a lower payment from them.
