'Outlander' Season 7, Part 2 premiere date announced; new characters revealed for season 8

Exciting news for 'Outlander' fans! Part 2 of Season 7 is finally set to hit screens this November. The new season follows Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian as they return to Scotland amidst the Revolutionary War, with returning cast members and some new characters introduced for the final 8th season.

Months after the premiere of Season 7 Part 1, the makers announced that Part 2 is set to premiere on Starz later this year, on Friday, November 22nd.
New episodes will be available at midnight on the Starz app and will also air at 8 PM ET/PT on Starz.
When the show returns, it will follow Claire (played by Caitríona Balfe), Jamie (played by Sam Heughan), and Young Ian (played by John Bell) as they leave the American colonies and head back to Scotland.The ongoing Revolutionary War forces them to make difficult choices about whether to stay with the people they love or to fight for their new home.
Meanwhile, Roger (played by Richard Rankin) and Brianna (played by Sophie Skelton) will face new threats across different a time period. As the story unfolds, secrets come to light and loyalties are tested, putting Jamie and Claire's marriage under immense strain. Will love be enough for the two as they strive to reunite the MacKenzies and Fraser clans?
Other returning cast members include David Berry, Charles Vandervaart, Izzy Meikle-Small, and Joey Phillips.

In addition to the news about season seven, Starz has announced three new characters for the upcoming eighth and final season, which is currently in production. Kieran Bew will join the cast as Captain Charles Cunningham, a retired British soldier. Frances Tomelty will play his mother, Elspeth Cunningham. Carla Woodcock will appear as Amaranthus Grey, a new member of the Grey family.
Meanwhile, a prequel to the series 'Blood of my Blood' is also currently in the works.
