Radhika Apte dazzles in Vaishali S’ creations at Paris Haute Couture Week

Actor Radhika Apte captivated audiences as she walked for designer Vaishali Shadangule at Paris Haute Couture Week. Apte showcased two breathtaking ensembles, each requiring over two months of meticulous craftsmanship.
Vaishali Shadangule's brand, Vaishali S, unveiled its Fall/Winter 2024 collection, titled Satori, during the prestigious fashion week.The show, hosted at Solum Paris, featured an indoor setting where wearable art told a magical story inspired by nature.

Apte's ensemble was a multi-layered, multi-dimensional masterpiece that she carried with remarkable poise. The event, held in collaboration with Tanishq, saw Apte adorned with a stunning piece of diamond jewelry from the brand, adding to the opulence of her look.
Describing the intricate work behind the showstopper outfit, Shadangule shared, "The ensemble Radhika wore is the most emblematic of our multilayered, multi-dimensional approach. It was the most demanding in terms of handwork, taking over two months of precise labor by six artisans, followed by careful assembling and draping. I hope people can appreciate the intensity, depth, and multifaceted nature of this piece."

On choosing Apte as the showstopper, Shadangule explained, "I rely on instinct and the chemistry I feel towards my work. It’s hard to pinpoint specific reasons; it just felt perfect."
The show opened with a contemporary dance performance, where dancers donned fluid silhouettes in rich shades of burgundy and ivory. The runway came alive with creative draping and a diverse color palette, creating numerous 'aha' moments throughout the showcase. The color scheme was serene and muted, featuring pure white, soft beige, and light grey to symbolize purity and clarity. Accents of deep indigo, rich burgundy, and gold highlighted enlightenment and spiritual richness. Each draping honored traditional Indian garments and values while maintaining a modern edge.

Every design on the runway exuded effortless grace and fluidity. Clean, streamlined silhouettes were embellished with intricate handwork and subtle patterns inspired by the energy of nature. The garments were further accentuated with elegant jewelry pieces from Tanishq.
