Zomato sets Guinness World Record in these 'lessons', read CEO Deepinder Goyal's post

Food delivery service provider Zomato made a world record in Mumbai. The company trained over 4,300 delivery partners in a single location, setting the Guinness World Record for the "largest first-aid lesson at a single venue."

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal proudly shared the news on social media, expressing his gratitude to these newly minted "Emergency Heroes of India." Goyal took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to post about the First Aid record.“Yesterday in Mumbai, we broke the 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝s for the largest first aid lesson at a single venue, together with 4,300 delivery partners. Over 30,000 @zomato delivery partners are now professionally trained to provide medical aid and help during critical roadside emergencies. Salute and a big thank you to these 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚,” posted Goyal.

Zomato aimed to equip its delivery partners, the backbone of their business, with potentially life-saving skills. The training program covered essential first-aid techniques and CPR, empowering partners to respond to emergencies on the road. Along with this, the company also recognised outstanding performers and offered them the chance to work alongside the Zomato team at their headquarters.
Zomato's efforts to prioritise their partners' safety and well-being are a positive step, with over 30,000 delivery personnel now equipped with valuable first-aid knowledge.
