Siddharth Mallya's life, career and relationships

Indian fugitive Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth Mallya recently got married to Jasmine, in a private ceremony near London. Siddharth was born in Los Angeles and raised in London and the UAE. He has built a career in modeling and acting. He has walked the ramp for many designers too. Siddharth attended Wellington College in Berkshire and further completed his bachelors from Queen Mary University in London.Along with his formal training, he also trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Siddharth has lived a lavish lifestyle, he aspired to be an actor but his father’s tarnished reputation, affected his career path. Early in his career he worked at Diageo as an assistant brand manager for Guinness. He was appointed director of Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB), which was part of United Breweries in 2010. He also started a talk programme called ‘No boundaries’ in 2012. In 2012, Lakme Fashion week he made his runway debut as showstopper for Komal Sood. After that he walked many ramps and finally in 2014 he started a YouTube channel called Sid Sessions. He got a break in the film industry when he starred in Steve Barron’s sex comedy Brahman Naman, which was not a huge success.
According to certain reports, Siddharth’s net worth was estimated at 3,175 crore by 2023. Along with his ventures in business, modeling and acting, Siddharth has also authored two books. In 2021, Siddharth wrote an autobiography called, “ If I'm Honest: A Memoir of My Mental Health Journey '', where he talks about his struggles with depression, alcohol and parent’s divorce. Another book called ‘Sad/Glad’ was released in 2024, where he talks about the emotional and mental turmoil in a kid.
In the Netflix docuseries, “Bad Boy Billionaires”, Siddharth Mallya defended his father and said that his father is a “political pawn” as “they(government) need a man to make an example of”. This is the first time Mallya has spoken since his father Vijay Mallya came in spotlight for his bank fraud worth 9000 crore and henceforth absconded to UK. He is currently working in the acting and modeling industry.
Siddharth Mallya tied the knot with his girlfriend Jasmine on June 23, in a closed ceremony. They took to instagram to announce their engagement last Halloween. They had dated for a year. Siddarth has had a long history of dating bollywood actresses. He was rumored to have been in a relationship with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. They never confirmed the relationship but were spotted together many a time, before they ended the relationship abruptly. Siddharth shared a close relationship with ‘Jannat’ famed actress Sonal Chauhan. His relationship with Frieda Pinto was also in limelight when the two were spotted together in New York in 2016. Other actresses who were rumored to be dating Siddharth were- Nargis Fakhri, Sophie Chaudhary and Angela Johnson.
