Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh recently made a proud appearance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show. He is now busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’. During a recent media interaction, the actor said that he had worked hard for the past two decades to reach the stardom he currently enjoys.
Diljit calls Punjab his home and draws his energy from its soil. Punjab is always in his blood and breath wherever he goes.He is determined to do one Punjabi film and an album every year, which is truly substantial for him. He further added that he will continue to do everything else but would never disconnect from Punjab.
He recalled an incident from 2012 when an excited audience smashed the doors of a cinema hall in Ludhiana during the screening of the first part of ‘Jatt & Juliet’. He mentioned that he always tries not to miss a chance to break into bhangra at a theatre.
Dosanjh has a huge fan base who love his singing as much as his acting. In 2020, he became the first Punjabi artist to be featured at Times Square in New York City. In 2023, he was the first Indian artist to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Earlier this month, he made history again by becoming the first Punjabi singer to appear on The Tonight Show.
