Two years have passed since the tragic death of Sidhu Moosewala, the influential Punjabi singer and songwriter whose untimely demise on May 29, 2022, left a profound impact on fans and the music industry. As the anniversary of his passing approached, his family and fans gathered to remember and honor his legacy, reflecting on the indelible mark he left on their lives.

During this solemn moment, Charan Kaur, the mother of Moosewala, shared her deep sorrow and enduring affection for her late son on Instagram.
Composed in Punjabi, her heartfelt words captured the profound emptiness caused by his absence. "Miss you, son Sidhu. We will never forget a son like you in our whole life. You will always remain in our hearts, son. Your memory will always be there. This day is written in black letters in history," she expressed, echoing the profound sadness felt by both his loved ones and fans.
Charan Kaur's poignant note comes amid a controversial period for the family, as she recently welcomed another son. The birth has sparked significant attention and debate within India, adding to the emotional weight of this anniversary.

Sidhu Moose Wala’s father, Balkaur Singh, also paid tribute to his son, sharing a picture of him on Instagram with the hashtag #JusticeforSidhuMooseWala. In an interview with ANI, Balkaur Singh announced that the family would host an intimate religious gathering at their home, urging fans not to travel to Moosa, their hometown, due to the intense summer heat and ongoing local elections. “There will be a very simple program tomorrow because there are elections and temperatures are very high. We have told people outside to not come here, only the people of the village and family are coming. The public has been told to not come…Only the religious rituals will be performed,” he stated.

The decision to limit attendance highlights the family's concern for their supporters' well-being, showing a deep respect and consideration for those who continue to stand by them in their time of grief. Despite this, the love and dedication of Sidhu Moose Wala's fans remain unwavering, as they honor his memory from afar.
