BENGALURU: Happy Streets, an initiative of The Times of India, is set to return to Commercial Street for the third consecutive weekend this Sunday morning.
Presented by Bhima Jewellers, it is being held in association with The Bangalore Commercial Street Association and supported by BBMP, Bengaluru city police and Bengaluru traffic police.
The event also features sports partner Decathlon, Zumba partner The Swingers Dance Inc, storytelling partner AceNovation,
yoga partner Being Yogic, fitness partner Priti’s Hulahoop and creative arts partner Make My Garden.
More fun games, quizzes and challenges are on the cards this time round. The stretch near Commercial Street police station will be free of vehicles from 6am to 9am and be open to children, families and elders to walk, cycle, skate, jog, play badminton, basketball or a traditional sport, and do much more.
What’s in storeThe event will kick off with a gripping session of yoga and pranayama by Being Yogic from 6.30am to 7am. This will be followed by Zumba and high-intensity dance session by The Swingers Dance Inc, for 30 minutes till 7:30am.
For the next 30 minutes, all attendees will get a chance to win exciting prizes from Bhima Jewellers by taking part in the special quiz contest, followed by a fashion ramp walk. From 8am, captivating performances by talented kids from Priti’s Hulahoop are lined up.
