Hello, recently I've been having issues where if misclick anywhere on the title bar (even in the small space between bookmarks) firefox will minimize/restore when I didn't want it too. How do I disable this in about:config?

I have Picture in Picture disabled on Firefox. For some unknown reason, sometimes when watching youtube videos in fullscreen the video pops out of the screen and goes to a lower right window. This window has no controls, no title and the video stays black and nothing plays anymore. If I right click on it I have the option of "showing controls". Why is this happening? Am I issuing some weird mouse or keyboard command? How the HECK do I disable this, since I don't want, ever, to see any videos on a floating window, like ever at all? May I remind you that I disabled PIP in the beginning?

Please help.

Is there a way to alter/customize the order of my email account folders? Eg, can I rearrange the order of folders named Trash, Inbox, Sent, Temp, Notes, Outbox and many others I created? TIA

Any anyone ever had Thunderbird Email Filter REALLY work? I never have.

- Some emails do get sent to my Junk Folder (where I have it assigned to go to). - Some emails are noted as Junk, but not filtered to the Junk Folder (please see Image). - Some emails are still coming thru as normal emails, with no notification.

I've added an Image of how I set the Email Filter for every SPAM email.

When you have multiple (2) accounts with previous accounts, the passwords are many. I can not get logged in as the passwords I use are not working. My account does work on my Windows 10 and I am on a Mac mini. I am working with Optimum.net server. I know, today, there are network across the world with problems. MicroSoft, it seems. All of this does not help my situation to get my email running on Thunderbird. I have been working on this for three days now. Thanks for any comments or questions to help me. There are 32 shortcuts on my home screen - 4 rows of 8 each. However, I accidentally "dismissed" one shortcut - now there are 31 total. I cannot figure out how to restore a shortcut. Is the solution in about:config (browser.newtabpage.pinned)?

Is there any option to add keyboard shortcut feature to built-in translator, so I can quickly enable/disable it? I use it a lot and I switch very often between original page and translation, and clicking every time at the icon in search-bar is a bit troublesome :P

I need help understanding why my mozilla.cfg file is not working. I have read the steps on how to add the file and where its located with autoconfig.js file as well. My current situation is that the mozilla.cfg is in the MozillaFirefox root directory where the EXE lives as it states in your directions. My autoconfig.js file is in the defaults\pref folder where the channel-pref.js file lives. This is how its setup but it's still not applying my mozilla.cfg file. Can I please get assistance on why this is not functioning in any way. Thanks

I'm using Thunderbird version 115.12.2 on Mac Sonoma 14.5. Every once and a while, when Thunderbird crashes (unfortunately frequent, because of the numbers of folders and emails), my unified folder suddenly contains *all* of my folders, rather than just the 2 inboxes from my 2 different accounts, which is what I want and what I set up when I configured unified.

When I go into properties --> "select the folders to search" it allows me to uncheck 1 folder at a time. BUT I have 1,931 folders !

Is there a way to uncheck all folders in "select the folders to search" and then I can just check inbox in each of my 2 accounts?

Several commands do not have corresponding keybindings. In particular, the ones I'm interested in are "Go one word to the left/right" as shown in the attached image.

Is there a reason why these are left out? Firefox is the only program on MacOS, that I have encountered, where it is impossible to have the caret skip words forward/backwards.

I can use Karabiner-Elements to fix whatever weirdness might exist, but not if Firefox has no way to actually trigger that command, nor a way to rebind keys in order to do so either.

Maybe I've missed something obvious.

PS: Writing this was annoying, exactly for the reason explained. The weird thing is that CTRL+backspace is the only "make key X operate on a whole word instead of a single character" that actually works. For example, "backspace" removes a single character in text edit fields. "ctrl+backspace" would remove the whole word.

PPS: I don't care too much if the modifier key is CTRL or CMD. I can rebind that. I just need it to either be *something*, or that one can set it to *something.

I only need copy "/home/jian/Downloads/v12-0001-Remove-dependence-on-integer-wrapping.patch" is there a simple way to when the position is in address bar, I only copy the absolute filename.

Starting with v128 or so, there is a nag at the top of the browser window about starting Firefox automatically on boot.

It only appeared a couple of times so far, but I'd still like to know if there a setting to prevent this nag from ever appearing again?
