Linux distribution primarily targeted at routing on embedded devices.
OpenWrt is configured using a command-line interface (ash), or a web interface (LuCI). Instead of a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable file system with package management. This frees users from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application.
