E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

I also tried following (which didn't help):

apt autoremove
apt-get update --fix-missing

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade

Do you have any idea how to complete the installation for the rest of the archives? Thank you

  • It is complaining about the internal IP address. Does the machine have unfettered internet? Are you prefixing the commands with sudo ? It does not show above. You do need to enter sudo apt-get update and authenticate.

I already figured it out. I had to use https:// instead of http:// in /etc/apt/sources.list.

  • also works to fix the same issue for "kali-linux-everything"
