1Please clarify what you want as it's not clear. Do you want to delete all characters on each line after a specified character? All characters on a line after position n? Please click edit and improve the question so it's unmistakably clear to any reader of this site. Also, have you consulted their help forum site? emeditor.com/forums– K7AAYCommented Mar 6, 2020 at 23:39

If you only want a solution in emeditor why did you tag your question with two irrelevant text editors and "email filter"? I can tell you exactly how to do this in minimal steps in Notepad++ (one of your tags) without having to change every line one-by-one, but can't because you have explicitly said you don't want that solution in your question.– Mokubai ♦Commented Mar 7, 2020 at 8:35

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
