Steam Chat

Steam Chat is Steam's official app to talk to all your contacts within the popular video game platform. Just like on the desktop version of the chat, you get to see all your contacts' statuses at a glance. Anyone who is actively playing will appear first, then anyone that's online below, and finally you'll also get a full list of all your offline contacts.

To talk to any of your friends all you have to do is click on their name and open a new chat window. In addition to chatting, you can take and send pictures directly through your Android. Use all your Steam 'emoji', and even invite other friends to join a conversation. Thanks to this last feature, you can even create chat groups where you talk to several friends at the same time.

From the Steam Chat options menu choose how to adjust the type of notifications you receive, and customize some aspects of the chat. For example, you can set it up so that images only load directly in your chat while you're connected to a stable WiFi network. This proves to be especially useful for users with a weak 3G/4G connection.

Steam Chat is an excellent chat app that perfectly complements the features of the official Steam app. But with far fewer features. Thanks to the chat groups, you can organize games in comfortably and communicate with all your team members.
