comment Is there any part of the island of Great Britain which is not in England & Wales or Scotland?
@gnasher729 - I believe the OP meant GB in the sense that includes England and Wales and Scotland and therefore the mainland and island parts of all of these countries, rather than in the geographical sense of the single large island that includes only the three countries' mainlands.

This is the correct answer. I don't know why it has less support than the other answer that doesn't even address the question.

This answer is practically irrelevant to the question, which doesn't even ask about the United Kingdom.

comment Is mooning people in the UK legal?
Research could be conducted outside a police station to gather further information. The position may be complicated by the difference between wearing a thong, jockstrap, or mankini underneath the underwear you remove in order to show your buttocks and wearing nothing at all underneath.

comment Home ownership burden of insurance in Scotland
@SoronelHaetir - Another way of putting it is that the expected return on any insurance policy is negative.

comment When did unpasteurised dairy become illegal in Scotland?
It was only the sale of unpasteurised cows' milk that was banned in 1983. foodstandards.gov.scot/business-and-industry/… This was extended to milk from all farmed animals in 2006.

comment What are the cross-jurisdictional effects of British police powers?
The phrase "just as easily" is doing a lot of work in your question. It is unlikely that if say a large-scale financial crime is committed in the City of London a police service from elsewhere in London, England, or Britain will lead the investigation of it, even if technically it may be possible for them to come into the City and arrest the perpetrator. The CoLP, however, have a lot of expertise in investigating fraud and other financial crimes and they often give the benefit of this expertise to police outside the CoL.

comment An English magistrate's search warrant is authorised by a Scottish sheriff for execution in Scotland. What statute governs its execution?
That's what I suspected, but I'd be interested in what specific Scottish statute governs the search. (Although if the police seize items having followed Scottish law, presumably they then have to follow PACE again if they take them - or information from them, or photographs - back to England. Recipe for a minefield!)
