What real-world cultures inspired the various human name examples? As a Slav I can say I wouldn't be specially surprised if someone would use a name from Illuskan or Rashemi list in real life. I might think it's a nickname, or a name adopted by someone of the old faith (rodzimowierstwo). But it would not sound out of place. We have a strong cross contamination of languages with Norse people, FWIW. |

Why did Geordi have his visor replaced with ocular implants between Generations and First Contact? @anaximander 7 of 9 first appeared 10 years later than La Forge, so that's not quite fair comparison. And her implant is relatively small and close to the skin. Forehead ridges have much more of a flat contact with face available, so mounting is easier. They can also be soft and don't protrude so much away from the face. |

It is "safe" but honestly it was so unpleasant I have never wore that mask again. It burns, it leaves unpleasant residue, it made me cry with the solvent it released when drying. I'll never use it next to eyes again. So yea, it is not a simple choice and drawback-free solution. |

If anything, Drizzt series mentioned at what age Drow matriarch usually stops having children, so there's lore mentioned age for a kind of Elves, but not for humans. |
