comment Can a planet have a warm, tropical climate both at the poles and at the equator?
@LocustHorde: conceptually yes; you'd just be moving the equator across the planet all the time, however you then have a problem in that you need a force to change the axis all the time. the easiest explanation (that probably doesn't make sense) i can think of would be that the crust of the planet is freely spinning chaotically with the wind around the core.

I don't think it's relevant to add a bonus related to XSI; bonuses are frowned upon, and it doesn't significantly change the problem. i'm not sure if a new challenge would be that different either, but maybe you can spin it in a materially different challenge.

i see. worth noting in your final submission that the Core i7-12700 has 8 P-cores and 4 E-cores, which will likely affect multithreading. i don't think it's relevant to say, limit answers to only use 8 cores, but I think you should still mention it.

can you clarify what you mean with the tie-breaker? to me it sounds like it's the same as the score.

nice one! i thought i could save some bytes using a prime-factor representation but that number has annoyingly few, as do its neighbors.
