🌟 Izmir welcomes WRO 🌟 More than 3,000 young robotics enthusiasts are set to gather in Izmir for the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) International Final from November 28-30, 2024! 🌍🤖 At a recent press conference hosted at Kültürpark Izmir Sanat, Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay expressed the city's enthusiasm for this global event: "The future of the world is greatly impacted by our children's engagement with science. We are delighted to be part of this event and will welcome participants to Izmir in the best possible way." This prestigious event, organized by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, IZFAS, and the Heroes of Science Association, will bring together participants from 90 countries to showcase their robotic solutions under the theme "Earth Allies." 🌱✨ Dr. Tugay highlighted the importance of introducing Izmir as a hub of science, art, and education, anticipating over 3,500 participants. "This event will naturally enhance our international visibility. We aim to present Izmir as a city enriched by science, art, and education—a city open to the world with its enlightened culture," he said.
