High-quality datasets are essential for increasing the accuracy and trust of #AI models. #Singapore is partnering with companies to address this need through AI Singapore’s 100 Experiments (#100E) initiative. Since its launch in 2020, the programme has provided more than 100 companies with access to funding and expertise to create quality training datasets for AI tools in addressing business challenges, greatly speeding up their plans to build their own AI teams. Successful projects include: ⚪ SembWaste’s new plastic-sorting system that improves plastic waste sorting accuracy from 85 to 95%. ⚪ Q & M Dental Group (Singapore) Limited's AI model for dental X-rays, which was trained with 20,000 scans to achieve between 85 and 95% accuracy. UK tech scale-up Tyk APAC opened its first overseas office in Singapore in 2017, after finding that users in APAC were the first adopters of its open-source product. Tyk now manages APIs for over 10,000 businesses globally and has been named a Leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for API Management.
