International SOS is closely monitoring the regional developments amid escalating tensions between Israel, Hamas and Hizbullah. We are currently supporting impacted clients and advising them to consult our location guides for further information and for our advice for inbound travellers and in-country workforce for countries across the region. Due to potential developments in the coming days, limit to essential travel and be prepared for a potential change in commercial airline operations and short-notice airspace closures. Please continue to monitor the latest information over the weekend (2-4 August), as the situation remains dynamic. Learn more: https://okt.to/osXFeM

We are assisting impacted clients in Venezuela due to an increase in protest activity following the disputed result of the country's presidential election. On 29 July, spontaneous peaceful protests broke out across the country, which turned increasingly violent as the security forces and pro-government paramilitaries (known as ‘colectivos’) suppressed the protests. We are currently advising to minimise movement and remain in a secure location for all those already within the country, as there is considerable opportunity for further escalation and degradation of the security environment.
