Microsoft Hyper-V is a hypervisor-based virtualization system for x64 systems. Hyper-V existed as a stand-alone product called Microsoft Hyper-V Server, in Windows Server 2008 and the last and final release for Windows Server 2019. Both variants are able to run in Windows Server Core versions.
