As a keen programmer and tech manager, I love seeing projects come to life as we work on them. I have had the privelige of working on some really interesting projects during my career, and I hope to continue that trend.

I am transgender, and have been open about my transition since coming out in my professional life in 2021. I believe that equality between all people in all walks of life is important. This level of respect is one of my core values, alongside compassion, honesty, adaptability, diligence and careful courageousness.

I enjoy solving interesting mathematical problems and implementing them with neat and efficient algorithms. I have experience with many different programming languages and environments. I am quick to pick up whatever toolset is required for the task, and I'm a strong believer in "the right tool for the job" rather than "just use my current favourite".

I enjoy designing cloud systems that are efficient and scaleable. There's something satisfying in setting up a good system, including the devops and CICD pipelines, so coders can push their changes and watch it all happen and be deployed right then. The systems I currently use are GitLab for code storage, project management, and CICD, being deployed to GCP, with either CloudRun or K8s, depending on the requirements.
