The "Mommies of Little Ones" program has reached its final session, where Enache Flori Ramona, Program Manager, shared valuable information with the beneficiary mothers about their workplace rights. 🏢   During the conversation, they learned how to protect their jobs in cases of harassment and how to support themselves or others experiencing negative events at work. 🛑   ⏲ We also discussed working hours and rest periods. Despite facing challenges in asserting their rights—especially since many do not have access to an HR department—they are now more aware of the authorities that can support them.   We celebrated the final day of the program with certificates of participation, small gifts🎁, and support from Social x Change Ro.   We hope to help more mothers learn new skills in the future. 🙌 #StefaniniInstitute #StefaniniInstituteEMEA #Educationforall #nonformaleducation

Yesterday, in collaboration with our partners from the Social Xchange Association and the Sector 6 Municipality, we organized an event for children and teenagers of various ages to explore over 20 different professions. The Career Picnic took place at Golescu-Grant Mansion in Bucharest, where over 120 participants engaged with guests who showcased their professions and activities. The questions were endless, ranging from working methods and fields to education levels and more. Conversations about careers were accompanied by ice cream and lemonade, perfect for combating the afternoon heat, and they have contributed to end the event with smiles all around. As part of the "Moms of Tots" project, implemented in collaboration with Social Xchange Ro, we hosted a powerful workshop on combating drug use, led by Chief Commissioner Sava Lavinius from the National Anti-Drug Agency. Key themes covered: 1️⃣ Psychosocial Rehabilitation - Emphasizing support for those affected by drug addiction. 2️⃣ Preventing Drug Use in Families - Tips for parents to identify and manage potential risks. 3️⃣ National Anti-Drug Strategy - Reviewing policies and action plans. 4️⃣ Types of Drugs and Their Effects - Understanding the impact on health. 5️⃣ Social Context of Drug Users - Exploring contributing social factors. During the workshop, participant moms had the chance to use special lenses that simulated the effects of drugs on feeling and walking. 🌞 As the temperatures rise, staying productive can be challenging. At Stefanini Institute, we’ve teamed up with our colleagues from Stefanini EMEA to find a refreshing way to recharge our batteries—through the energy of our little guests. We organized a cybersecurity workshop for them, where our Security Operation Center team facilitated interactive activities. Amazing work done by: Mohamed Mohamed Salih, Bogdan Oancea, Răzvan Lisman, Catalin George - Ionescu and Aurelian Gheorghe👏. The kids learned about safe browsing, creating strong passwords, and identifying phishing attempts. 🙌 But we didn’t stop there! We invited our young visitors to explore various areas of our Bucharest office. They were particularly impressed by the SOC center and enjoyed interacting with Stefanini employees, gaining insights into future career opportunities from Georgiana Gherghe, Marta Gheorghe, Roxana Cosac, Andreea Strachinescu, Maria-Vanessa Gheorghe, Alin Bratuleanu, Lacramioara Miroiu and Alexia Lucia Guşa. 🙌 🤝 A big thank you to everyone involved in organizing this event and creating wonderful memories for the children. 🔹 Empathic Communication Lesson 🗣: How to Build Harmonious Family Relationships 🔹 As part of the "Mămici de Pici" project, organized by the The SocialxChange Charity Shop in Bucharest, we had a new meeting focused on the importance of communicating with children and addressing the consequences of our actions. The discussions were led by Silvia Voicu from the National Anti-Drug Agency and Enache Flori Ramona from Stefanini Institute EMEA, essential partners in implementing this project, along with counselors from the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Sector 6. 🔸 What We Learned: -The importance of a calm and constructive tone in conversations with children, avoiding raised voices during explanations and corrections. - Active listening and giving children full attention without interrupting to immediately correct mistakes. - Involving children in setting rules, giving them the opportunity to express their opinions and concerns, thus promoting responsibility and understanding of the importance of respecting rules.
