Stop notifications

Is there not a way to store galaxy store notifications?

I don't recall really seeing any Notifications from the Galaxy Store, other than the occasional one for app updates. 

But, go to Settings > Apps & Search for the Galaxy Store & Click on Notifications > Notification Categories & You can Toggle Off all the Notifications except for "Important Updates"

Usually i can stop unnecessary notifications, but not with galaxy store! Very annoying

Its seems i dont have Notification Categories after i clicked the Notification tab?

Go to Settings > Notifications >Advanced & Toggle ON Notification Categories for each app.

This doesn't work. You can silence the notifications, but you cannot turn them off completely. It's complete garbage that I'm forced to receive marketing notifications I do not want.

Personally, I don't recall EVER receiving any marketing Notifications from the Galaxy Store.. ever. 

You can turn off all Notifications, except for "Important app Notifications", or as you saw, you can just set Galaxy Store Notifications to Silent. 

I really don't see the issue here? 

Although I have never received any "Important Updates" Notifications, I would imagine that they might be for some serious issue with an app, ie: Security breach.

They are silent, but they still put a banner in my notifications area. I get a couple a week. The last one was urging me to claim a coupon for the store,the one before that telling me im missing out on some random game. It's ads, pure and simple. Not important, and not able to be turned off.
