Just got this phone a week ago. Not much usage.

With a SOT of 2h 31 min, my phone went down from 96% to 37%.

This is consistently happening; even after using power saving and dark mode.

I am a student, and I need the battery to at least run a full day or two. The amount of drainage is truly ridiculous.

Also, a little funny as compared to my old phone, the A31, is that apps don't auto close at night, much unlike my A31, which produced longer battery life than the S23 Fe.

I absolutely don't want to hate the S23 FE; I love it. It is my first ever Samsung "S" series phone and as a camera enthusiast, the camera is also mindblowing, and better than the Pixel 8 (I tested my friend's Pixel 8).

As I am writing the post, I can watch the battery roll down to 30% from 35%, albeit I have just started writing barely a minute or two ago.

Ridiculous. Any workarounds?

Nice advice bro... But the problem is if there is an issue, mobile can be changed only within 14days from purchase...

Oh I see.. yes there is a strict policy of no 1-to-1 exchange for Samsung devices, unless it's case-by-case basis. To get a new phone, just because the phone has a manufacturer defect like battery, they would rather have the technician to open up the phone, investigate, replace the battery and return back to customer.

Hello,

I recently switched from the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE to the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and have noticed a significant decrease in battery life. Despite transferring all my data and settings from the S20 FE to the S23 Ultra, the battery on the new phone drains approximately three times faster than before.

Previously, I was able to use my S20 FE throughout my entire work shift without any battery concerns. However, with the s23 fe the battery drains to critical levels before the end of my shift. My usage patterns remain consistent, primarily involving music streaming via Spotify on external speakers or headphones.

I kindly request assistance in identifying the root cause of this issue and potential solutions to improve the battery life of my Samsung Galaxy S23  Fe. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

For me, the biggest battery drainer seems to be Instagram, which i use quite a lot for media consumption purposes, but the amount of battery this app, or apps on my S23 FE is consuming in general, is crazy compared to my A31. Really sad that I bought this as an upgrade from the A31 predominantly for its battery life.

Mine too, even though i use power saving and i charge to 80%, the battery barely lasts 2 hours, and i need my phone battery to last at least a day as a student. I have to charge 3 hours per day, i really wish samsung could somehow fix this. This is also my first s series, and my a13 lasts way longer than my s23fe

Same here. My A31 used to last a full day with medium to extensive use. With such terrible experience, I am thinking of shifting to iPhone or a different Android company, breaking my loyalty with Samsung.

Recently, I acquired a pre-owned Samsung S23 FE device, which is an original Samsung product. However, I have encountered a significant issue with the battery life of the device. Despite being updated to One UI 6.1 and having the latest June security patch, the battery drains rapidly. Specifically, the battery level drops by approximately 3% or more every 10 to 30 minutes when the screen is active. I contacted Samsung support, and they adjusted certain settings, but the problem persists. It is unclear whether the device is unable to handle the demands of One UI 6.1 or if there is a potential issue with the battery itself. However, the diagnostic report indicates that the battery is functioning normally.
