I'm a South African/Brit living in Southern California with my wife and three kids. I have studied mathematics and have a PhD in physics. My kids were born in the UK and Singapore. I run Ubuntu at home, and enjoy puzzles. I like python and board games and rock climbing and outdoors generally. I write about science and religion and work in consulting.
