Duplicate where original is deleted & wrongly marked in the first place
I have gone ahead and deleted the question. That was something I had considered doing several times already, and this meta question (along with the answer from @ACuriousMind ) pushed me to actually do it—in the interests of consistency.

Review - Question closed as non-mainstream physics?
I think it's a reasonable physics question and has attracted real physics answers already, I so reopened it.

Mainstream Physics: Unconfirmed Particles
@HokonCazalet Yes, I would say so. If you have particular theory (or family of theories) in mind and want to ask about specific experimental consequences, that is a very standard activity in theoretical particle physics.

What is the definition of fringe science/was someone like Bruno Augenstein a fringe scientist?
@ZeroTheHero I consider that paper you linked to be crank material. It's been a long time since I read it carefully, but even if you accept the "theorem" that paper purports to prove (and, as I recall, I was not convinced by his argument even at that level), I don't think it says anything about the validity of von Neumann's formulation of quantum mechanics, since no actual physical computation or observation can ever depend on the Axiom of Choice and its infinite number of arbitrary choices.

How can arrows connecting verbiage in an incorrect sequence to diagrams be edited?
Could you clarify, with links to the questions involved? It's not clear what you want to do—or whether it's even possible or appropriate.

What is wrong with this question?
While it is perfectly reasonable to discuss reopening this questions, I do see that you have accepted an answer, so I am not entirely clear about what you want to achieve by having the question reopened.
