Should we just accept that this q&a site is now for people to express opinions on a variety of broadly speaking philosophical topics? It seems to have gone that way, and even asking for someone to cite an established viewpoint seems to be beyond the site and not ecnouraged by questions.

Should we redefine this subsite?

I think I am swimming against the tide and bad for the collective, so I will leave. Good luck in getting whatever it is you want, straight.

Speaking for myself:

I prefer if we have more philosophy,
And less homework.

And best that I know, from Socrates on, philosophy happens — to a large extent — by discussion
