Africa's insurance market is projected to grow significantly, but low penetration remains a major challenge. In Nigeria, insurance penetration is below 1% of GDP, despite a population of over 200 million. Traditional players face hurdles such as market saturation and slow rural penetration. However, Insurtech is set to transform the industry by expanding market reach, enhancing customer experience, and streamlining operations. Companies like Casava, Curacel (YC 22), and MyCover.ai (Techstars '22) are leveraging technology to make insurance more accessible, transparent, and efficient. This article explores how Insurtech can drive deeper penetration and create a resilient, inclusive insurance sector in Nigeria. Read more about the future of Insurtech in Nigeria and its potential to revolutionize the insurance landscape. #Insurtech #Nigeria #Insurance #Innovation #Technology #FinancialInclusion
