Common.css change on si.Wikibooks
We are using most of the layouts similar to the English Wikibooks. Therefore we need to update the "MediaWiki:Common.css" for some changes to take effect. Please help me to move the contents from b:si:පරිශීලක:Lee/20230609/common.css to b:si:මාධ්යවිකි:Common.css. --Lee (talk) 09:18, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Lee the first 12 lines of that are importing empty pages (why?). Additionally, subpages in the mediawiki namespace are designated for translations by default so there may be unexpected behavior with that naming schemed. You may want to use direct titles instead (e.g. not MediaWiki:Common.css/Autocount.css but MediaWiki:Autocount.css or MediaWiki:Common.css-Autocount.css]]. — xaosflux Talk 14:38, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- I have no idea about the CSS code. I copied if off the English project directly. A few tests showed that some of the things work as expected. So I guessed that's how it goes. Now I see, that the English project also have some other CSS files that are included here. Please hold the task while I check on these included CSS files. -- Lee (talk) 15:01, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Lee you should be able to rigorously test everything for users by loading it to your own files; as far as for your readers, unless someone from your project understands what all of this configuration is going to do keeping the mediawiki default may be more supportable. — xaosflux Talk 15:31, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

Remove old script on ptwikisource
- Page: s:pt:MediaWiki:Common.js
- Script: "Upload no Commons" - Lines 16-32
- Reason: It's a little old script that is no longer needed. It includes a link in the toolbar for uploading files to Commons, although there is already another link right after that for uploading files. In addition, as it does not use the skin classes, its appearance is different from the other links, giving the appearance of a bug.

MediaWiki:Common.css needs update on Māori Wikipeida
I've been requested to update MediaWiki:Common.css on Māori Wikipedia to match the English Wikipedia, in particular the Infobox sections, but I am not an interface administrator and may have insufficient understanding of how it works to not muck it up.
