Os.wiki: js & css

Common.js change on si.Wikipedia

Please move the content from w:si:පරිශීලක:Lee/20230407:common.js to w:si:මාධ්‍යවිකි:Common.js. I hold a sysop flag on that project, but I do not have interface administrator rights. The change intended here is including "ජීවමාන ජනයා" also in the places where the edit intro for "Living people" are displayed. --Lee (talk) 03:06, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

Outdated (super ancient) database report pages

After deleting a set of weird-looking project-namespace pages from 2004 apparently resembling database reports (now found at special pages), which, once created, had never been updated, it turned out that these also exist in the same old state on quite a few other smaller wikis with a total of 256 pages of this style I could find. Since this is kind of a larger issue, I would like to ask here first whether there is any value in keeping any of these pages – as far as I can see, they are only confusing if not misleading. ~~~~

I think those can be deleted. That said, some of the pages you mention are marked as archived content – for those, it's worth checking before doing anything.

Maybe a village pump message to affected projects, and take an action after (assuming no objections are raised)? This doesn't feel like something that should be decided from Meta . Martin Urbanec (talk) 15:31, 1 November 2022 (UTC)

It is sensible, though I don't think I have the time to notify every wiki in question. Looks like @WikiBayer has also been deleting some recently. ~~~~
