@Vargenau: Categories are done. The pages have been left, they probably need better review. I would have thought that someone on the wiki could get temporary rights and clean them up — billinghurst sDrewth 21:37, 6 March 2023 (UTC)

Deletion request on viwikiquote

Status: Done

Hi @MagicalNight97, thanks for your request! I reviewed some of the pages.

In case you're interested in acquiring adminship at vi.wikiquote, you can do that by making a request at q:vi:Wikiquote:Bảo quản viên (and after a week, ask a steward to evaluate the request at SRP). This will let you to delete similar pages yourself, without having to wait for a steward or a global sysop.

Install MediaWiki proofreading templates on zh-min-nan Wikisource

Status: Not done

Please configure the https://zh-min-nan.wikisource.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Proofreadpage_pagenum_template and https://zh-min-nan.wikisource.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Proofreadpage_index_template templates on the zh-min-nan Wikisource. These templates are required for page transcription on Wikisource (linking source scans to transcriptions, showing index page of transcribed pages), but previous editors have not used this functionality. There may be other missing templates/configs but these are the ones I am aware of. There does not appear to be an active admin on zh-min-nan WikiSource. Thanks! Force local account creations for CommonsDelinker

Hi. Could a steward (or global sysop, I think they have the permissions too) please forcibly create the following local accounts on the linked special pages for CommonsDelinker: bcl.wiktionary bjn.wiktionary gor.wiktionary? Abuse filter needed on hi.wiki

Status: Locally handled

Hello, we are facing continuous spamming by adding phone numbers in Bank and Economy related articles. IP's are being used to add such numbers, e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc.

@Base, because locally we don't have an admin who can do this (writing the rules). I can try but I'm not sure. That's why I am asking it here. Is there any better place to ask for writing the rules so that we can set up that locally? --SM7^--talk-- 17:11, 23 March 2023 (UTC)

Hi @SM7, you might want to try something like this to monitor the spamming:

user_age = 0
& page_namespace = 0 
& added_lines rlike "0[0-9]{10}"

If the spamming is just related to the IP-Range hi:Special:Contributions/2409:4064:0:0:0:0:0:0/33 [1] (all IPs you mentioned belong to this range) you might want do add & ip_in_range(user_name, "2409:4064:0:0:0:0:0:0/33") to reduce the amount of possible false positives. Please test these filter rules to check for false positives by creating the filter without enabling any filter actions first (I don't know if adding phone numbers in other contexts is allowed/desired at hiwiki). --Johannnes89 (talk) 10:22, 24 March 2023 (UTC)

@Johannnes89, Thank you for your kind help. So far IP range is concerned, restricting present IP range won't be much helpful as this behaviour is quiet a Long term behaviour (see this edit from year 2021) and going for 10 or 11 digit numbers added is perhaps the best option to target. These phone numbers also keep changing thus, adding them specifically will also not be much helpful. Anyway, I am going to try the rules given by you. If any further problem occurs, I will contactyou. Thanks again.
