Comment @MCC214: each of those wikis has their own systems in place to manage their vandals. Global sysops cannot help, and I doubt that it is an area where the stewards would go digging. Pewdiepie spam at el.wikisource (GS wiki)
I request hiding of summary at elwikisource pewdiepie because it contain spam, I already hiding it, but User:Praxidicae doesn't agree with me and ask me to unhide it, so I unhide it, I will leave this to other GS. ----AldNonymousBicara? 18:38, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
- As I explained earlier, there is no reason to hide something like this - it is stupid vandalism/spam but it doesn't violate anything that should require actual hiding. As the person who deleted it, you asked me to hide it, I declined on the basis that I don't think it falls under any relevant or reasonable criteria to hide, if it did, we'd hide every single spam edit on every project. I'm definitely not going to wheel-war over this but I disagree very much with hiding edits that aren't one of the three mortal wiki sins (attacks, scams or excessive spam, particularly in cases where no one is going to see it in the log.) - @Nick and Praxidicae: RD policy on el.wikisource is based from the original template translation from Mediawiki on Translate Wiki, this RD doesn't came from community sides, it is practiced on many wikis that to hide spam messages and such, for example if the link is being left on the spam summary itself. Now if I take policy from multiple wiki, theres RevDel policy that's coming from community itself that ask for RevDel'ing spam messages, so I follow that practice. So... - I can't find an actual policy page for RD on el.wikisource, so I am basing my comment on the RD policy here on Meta Revision deletion allows for log redaction as well, however this feature is intended solely for grossly improper content, and is not permitted for ordinary matters. which can be found at Meta:Deletion policy. Not done Per pirsquared this closed as not done. Also for Nick before you make an outstanding accusation please be sure what policy is being violated, since you are actually posting deletion policy for local meta, not for global, if I wanted to, I could also use Deletion policy from id id:MediaWiki:Revdelete-reason-dropdown which include spam. - FWIW while this is not technically allowed on Meta, enwiki, and a lot of other large wikis I do see sysops on other wikis do it all the time. But elwikisource has active sysops, I'm not sure why they haven't been asked. --Rschen7754 03:05, 6 April 2019 (UTC)

I think your problem is that Google Translate defaults to assuming that the text is written in Vietnamese (which is a completely unrelated language). As far as I can tell, Google doesn't even have an option for Min Dong yet. Only 1 sysop on this wiki. There seems to be a lot of vandalism on q:vi:Thành_ngữ_Việt_Nam and q:vi:Tục_ngữ_Việt_Nam (Most of the edits may not seem obvious, but some specific edits are purely nonconstructive, like [4][5]). Please pay some attention to those articles. Since there have been too much vandalism, I do not even know which revisions I should revert to. - Please address this to the admin at viWQ, they have been onwiki in the past week, and this sort of stuff is best managed locally. If the admin needs our assistance, then they can ask. - Create the redirects en:Gadget:Past as Future and en:Gagdet:Invention, Travel, and Adventure targeting en:Gadget Invention, Travel, & Adventure (originally proposed by Nyttend at en:User talk:MaxSem/Archives/August 2015#Gadget redirects) and tag these as R restricted as well.
For the avoidance of doubt, this cannot be done by a local administrator.

Update nap.wiki JS
The Monobook.js on nap.wiki is very outdated and needs updating. Most notably, it tries to load a script from itwiki which was deleted years ago and makes use of wg variables. The wiki doesn't have IAs, nor bureaucrats, so a steward should edit that page. The new content can be found at nap:Utente:Daimona Eaytoy/Sandbox.js. - Vermont, we are dealing with an LTA here. Yes, I wanted someone to CU the account, which is why I posted it on the Steward/CU page. This LTA is a sock and frequently travels with a half-dozen accounts. Now, I do not understand all this bureaucratic BS that User:علاء is throwing at me. I don't know why they can't protect my WikiQuote talk page: the only purpose it serves is harassment, and there is no reason for to go to another page to request semi-protection when I'm already trying to reach a steward. Nor do I understand whey they can't have a look at User talk:Bonadea to scrub such content as " Category:I am 1 lucky kid i sucking my sweaty dad c*ck and my dad watch my uncle breed my assmmm i"--User:علاء , do you think that's not disruptive? And I don't have any interest in reading a policy here: it's my daughter's name that was mentioned there, so someone better take an interest in it. Sorry, I know y'all have things to do, but at some point someone needs to take some action, and with this LTA that means running CU, blocking all accounts, possibly placing rangeblocks, and revdeleting all of their harassment. - @Drmies: To be fair, stewards can get in trouble for non-emergency admin actions on wikis that have active sysops. (I actually voted to remove a steward for a similar reason a few years ago, and the steward was removed in the end). Now here is what I would like: I want ALL the talk pages protected or at least semi-protected, on all the dozens of Wikis where I will NEVER be active, talk pages that only exist, AFAIK, because of this unified login stuff. There are so many that I don't even know what's where anymore. And have some nice smart person tweak the filter. That is the simplest way to counter this, until the WMF grows teeth and a spine. - Alaa, if anything - this sockpuppeteer hops over a very large range which blocking causes huge collateral (may be broken down to roughly 3--4 smaller ranges, but still large enough). Speedy deletion of user subpage in Lao language
I'm in a WP-editathon with Wikipedians editing in different languages, one of them in Lao. A participant wants to delete her subpage (because Google is indexing this subpage and showing it prominently in this language!). I have tried different templates to ask for (speedy) deletion and none of these templates works in lao, for ex. this is not working: {{subst:Proposed deletion|concern=reason for proposed deletion}}.
So I ask here, what to do or if someone could delete this page and this page?

kywiktionary revisited
As with my post about kywiktionary back in February, there has been quite a bit of recent page creation through IPs at that wiki, much of which was just deleted on March 24th (and relevant address ranges blocked). Billinghurst took care of it this time, but left the contributions of several now-blocked IPs in place because, he said: "Mass delete failed due to db error, and I didn't have the time to do singly. The older are not in RC, so cannot be mass deleted." Since they apparently would have been deleted if it had been easy to do, I'm wondering whether someone else wants to take a look at this and consider whether the pages should be deleted (or possibly even the opposite: consider reversing the blocks in some cases — not sure whether that's a common occurrence):
- 2804:14C:6590:8CEC:54B5:FBC:1CA9:7AEE (131 new entries created on 6 January, mostly translations of "agnostic" and "United States of America", and various unrelated Pinyin romanizations; 16 other page edits, mostly on same topics [i.e., similar edits to pages that happened to already exist])
- 2804:14C:6590:8CEC:CD66:91BA:39E3:BAF (64 new entries on 8 January, all of which are translations of "United States of America"; 2 related page edits)
- 2804:14C:6590:8CEC:30C1:F2AD:148A:587B (5 new entries on 8 January, all translations of "United States of America")
- 2804:14C:6590:8CEC:6D56:D0B2:ED01:F64C (6 new entries on 9 January, apparently all about a type of fruit; 3 similar page edits)

Holder is the other user who has been quite active mass-deleting pages on kywiktionary recently (deleted all the pages I posted about back in Feb). - Comment it is not so clean, some of these have reason text, eg. wikt:ky:nedancināmi and I am not brave enough to march in and delete as wiktionary is not one of my strengths. If no one is prepared to say that these entries were created illegitimately by a known vandal, then we should probably just close this as "not done". The Kyrgyz Wikipedia admins have not responded to my requests to participate in this discussion (none of them have edited that wiki in the meantime), and there's too many entries to check individually by someone who doesn't read Kyrgyz — i.e., by cross-referencing the info with existing pages in other Wiktionaries and Wikipedias. FWIW, I did that with the 5 "USA" entries created by 2804:14C:6590:8CEC:30C1:F2AD:148A:587B and they all seemed legit. If anyone has a lot of time on their hands, they can check the rest and tag any obviously bad entries with the local Template:Delete, for listing in the wiki's "speedy delete" category. (In case anyone is confused, the Kyrgyz Wikipedia admins were contacted because the Kyrgyz Wiktionary has no admins and no detectible editing community.) - dcljr (talk) 07:38, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
