We are not providing any further support for the mobile apps. There will not be any more builds made for either the Android or the iOS app (even for breaking bugs). We encourage all mobile users to use the responsive website. We hope to continue to incrementally improve the user experience for mobile users.
The Official Stack Exchange application was announced on January 27, 2014. The current version works for Android devices running 4.1 and up only.
So today we’re excited to announce that Stack Exchange for Android is finally available for download on the Google Play store
The app's version can be found out by choosing "Help" in the menu; please specify this version number when submitting bug reports.
