A reflection on an urn
An urn was a type of large vase, employed for decorative or funerary purposes.
In June 2151, Captain Jonathan Archer saw a reflection of the Andorian soldier Thon in an urn, placed next to the divider, at the Vulcan monastery at P'Jem. (ENT: "The Andorian Incident")
The set decoration section on the call sheet listed this piece as "round metal urn reflecting figures".
In 2269, James T. Kirk, Carver, and Leonard McCoy hid from the female inhabitants of the second planet of the Taurean system in a large urn. This backfired when rain began to fall, nearly resulting in their death by drowning. Fortunately, the all-female landing party managed to rescue them by shattering the urn with a phaser blast on setting one. (TAS: "The Lorelei Signal")
