At least seven ships of the class were lost to the Burn in c. 3069. When dilithium spontaneously became inert, these vessels lost antimatter containment and exploded. (DIS: "People of Earth")

In orbit around Hima, the wreckage of this starship was located in a debris field in 3188.

In that year, after a midspace collision with Booker's ship, Michael Burnham passed though a gap in this starship's primary hull as she descended to Hima. (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 1")

The wreckage was labeled with hull markings USS and NCC.

The wreckage of this starship was located in a debris field in 3188. This field was within the viewing range of a former relay station, which was now used as a courier waypoint. (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 1")

This is a re-use of wrecked Federation starship #1. The NCC is visible from the station's office.

A Constitution-class ship was docked near Federation Headquarters as the USS Discovery prepared to jump to the coordinates of Vellek's science ship on a Red Directive mission. It was later visible outside Kovich's office window, when Discovery returned from Q'mau. (DIS: "Red Directive")

Three Constitution-class ships were nearby Federation HQ when Discovery later jumped to Lyrek. They were still nearby, two of which tethered to the station, when Discovery later returend. (DIS: "Under the Twin Moons")

One ship of this class, along with the USS Noble, were nearby Federation HQ before Discovery jumped to Trill in pursuit of information on Jinaal Bix, and stayed nearby during Saru's ambassadorial sessions. (DIS: "Jinaal")

One ship of this class was at Federation HQ while Federation President Laira Rillak attempted to reach out to Primarch Tahal. (DIS: "Lagrange Point")

One ship of this class was nearby Federation HQ when Discovery jumped home, having completed its mission to find the Progenitors' technology. (DIS: "Life, Itself")
