The USS Varian Fry (NCC-87883) was an Inquiry-class Federation starship in service to Starfleet during the early 25th century.
In 2401, the Varian Fry was outside Sol Station when travel pod 05, carrying Captain William T. Riker and Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, was on route to the USS Titan. (PIC: "The Next Generation")
The name and registry of this ship was provided by Dave Blass. [1] The name and registry of the Varian Fry match previous usage for a model of an Inquiry-class vessel in Star Trek Universe: The Official Starships Collection.
The Varian Fry was presumably named for American journalist and humanitarian Varian Fry.
