Doctor Sanchez was a 23rd century Human Starfleet doctor who served aboard the USS Enterprise under Captains Christopher Pike and later James T. Kirk.
In 2259, Sanchez again met with Lieutenant La'an Noonien-Singh to discuss her health. (SNW: "All Those Who Wander")
In 2268, Dr. Sanchez conducted an autopsy on Ensign Wyatt after he was killed by Losira. Dr. M'Benga revealed that Sanchez discovered that the cause of death was cellular disruption – as if "each cell had been individually blasted from the inside", and ruled out a pathogen as the cause of this disruption. (TOS: "That Which Survives")
Sanchez was played by an unknown actor, and was only seen briefly in the background.
The novel Provenance of Shadows gives his first name as "Ignacio".
